Nini Bélanger

Field scout

She calls her approach hyperrealism, because her stagings are driven by her commitment to performance without artifice, truth of place (several of her shows are site-specific), and authenticity in language and in the connection with the audience. After graduating from the National Theatre School in 2006, Bélanger founded the company Projet MÛ, with which she has created powerful works for adults and youth, using a mode of creation by cycles: the Cycle of Loss for Beauté, chaleur et mort (2011) and Vipérine (presented at the NAC in 2013), and the Cycle of Skill, which includes Petite Sorcière.
