Maude Laurendeau

A graduate of the École supérieure de théâtre de l'UQAM,, Maude embarked on her first playwriting experience in 2018 with Rose et la machine, a documentary story in which she recounts her rocky journey following her daughter's diagnosis of autism.

This play marks Maude’s return to  Porte Parole Productions, a documentary theatre company, and its artistic director Annabel Soutar, who in 2008 entrusted her with one of the lead roles in Sexy béton. A trilogy about the collapse of the de la Concorde overpass in Laval, Sexy béton toured around  Quebec until 2011.

On stage, Maude has appeared in several plays, including Théâtre extrême by Jean-Guy Legault and L'oratorio de Noël by Michel Tremblay, directed by Serge Denoncourt.

Well-known on the small screen, in particular for her portrayal of Victoria Maillard in the popular series Yamaska and Anaïs Manning in the great historical Nos étés, she has appeared in numerous other TV series, including Grande Ourse, Minuit le soir, Pure Laine and, more recently, District 31 and Vertige.

On the silver screen, she has been in three films directed by Luc Picard. She was in Les Rois mongols, played the beautiful Lurette Riopel in Babine, and reprised this wonderful character in Ésimésac, the latter two films being inspired by the works of Fred Pellerin.
