Liza Mrak is one of Ottawa’s leading entrepreneurs and philanthropists.
Liza serves as the Executive Vice President of Mark Motors Group, a luxury automotive
organization with 7 locations and deep roots in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. In this role she leads many of the corporate operations including marketing, public relations, network development, human resources, and IT at the Mark Motors Group. In 1959, her father Louis founded the company, and Liza could not be prouder to carry on his tradition of excellence as one of the owners. Sharing the leadership and legacy of Mark Motors with her three older brothers, Liza helps run a true family business in our community.
By supporting local charitable organizations such as the National Arts Centre Foundation, the Boys & Girls Club of Ottawa, United Way, OSEG Foundation, the Royal Mental Health Foundation, the Montfort Hospital Foundation, the Ottawa Civic Hospital, Liza and the Mrak family have a proud tradition of philanthropy in their community. Liza believes that the strength of our community comes from what its people can give back to it. Her contribution to the community has not only been about giving, but also participating; she has given her time as a co-Chair of The Royal’s Run For Women, as a committee member for the OSEG Foundation Women’s Training Camp, as co-Chair of the Viennese Opera Ball, as a member of the Easter Seals Dancing with the Stars, as a member of the Governor General Awards committee, co-Chair of the Morning Social for the Boys & Girls Club and a co-Chair of the Taste for Hope fundraiser for the Shepherds of Good Hope.
Liza has a degree in Physiology from McGill University. Ottawa is the city she was born and raised in, where she calls home, and where her heart is. She joined the NAC Foundation Board of Directors in 2020.
