Gregory Sanders is Partner, Estates & Trusts and Tax Law, KPMG Law. Previously, he was head of Tax Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall. He specializes in the areas of Canadian Private Client Tax and Estate Planning, International Tax, Canada-U.S. Tax, Charitable planning and Dispute Resolution. Having been admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 1988 and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and Canada since 1990, Gregory has over 30 years of experience in private client tax law.
As an active member of his community, Gregory is the past chair of the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation, the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health, STEP Ottawa, the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (ORCF), and the ORCF Capital Campaign.
Gregory was presented with the Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser Award from the Ottawa Association of Fundraising Professional in recognition of his significant contributions to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. He has also served on the board of the Ottawa Special Olympics 2000 Winter Games and the Ottawa West-Nepean Federal Liberal Association.
He has a degree in Accounting and Economics for the University of Waterloo and University of Ottawa and completed his LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.
Gregory lives in Ottawa. He joined the NAC Foundation Board of Directors in 2020.
