“Body Beatbox ”

These performances are presented by NAC French Theatre

Time to shake it all off! In this lively show featuring juggling, rhythmic songs and percussive dance, four stunning Mozambican performers dazzle us with sight and sound. The incredible memories of this show will sustain you for the rest of the year.

Everywhere there are sounds, balls and plastic bags—spinning, falling, colliding! Agile bodies and dulcet voices become literal instruments. On a pared-down stage, adorned simply with a blanket of light and riveting drums, a festival of sensations, acrobatic acts and rapturous sounds is ready to emerge, as if a hectic street in Maputo had come to life on stage.

It’s so contagious you’ll have no choice but to start moving to the beat of these virtuoso artists with absolutely astounding skills. It’s a chance to reconnect to what may be the true purpose of the performing arts: a good excuse to get together.
