Johannes Moser returns with his rock-star energy to perform Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto
Cellist Johannes Moser returns to the NAC after his acclaimed debut in 2010 to perform Shostakovich’s First Cello Concerto, an elegiac and expressive work that showcases the young cellist’s virtuosity. Concerts are Thursday and Friday, March 14 and 15, 2013, at 8 p.m. in the NAC’s Southam Hall.
Ticket holders are invited after this energizing concert to join cellist Johannes Moser and guest conductor Fabien Gabel (who is set to take his new post as Music Director of the Quebec Symphony in the fall) in a Post-Concert Talkback – a conversation with music critic Jean-Jacques Van Vlasselaer.
