Ottawa, ON, March 21, 2012 – Explore the perils of success and the freedom of failure in Monster Makers, a charmingly inventive new participatory work for children and adults. The Sad Scientist just can’t get his monster to be monstrous. He needs help from the real experts: the kids.
Your kids get to be part of this fun, interactive adventure! Alongside John the Sad Scientist, they’ll teach him the do’s and don’ts of the world, and – moving beyond the walls of theatre – take him out for a trial outing. The expression “you’ve created a monster” takes on a whole new meaning in this spirited show, where it’s best for the adults to just get out of the way and give their children’s imaginations free rein!
Ages 6 and up.
“A catalyst for imaginative absurdity, the playwright blows out the walls of conventional theatre, sending storyline conformists scurrying for cover." - Now Magazine
