September 16 NAC Gala Featuring Canadian Icon k.d. lang: A Hot Ticket
Tickets to the 21st annual NAC Gala, presented by Rogers, on Saturday September 16 featuring Canadian superstar k.d. lang and the NAC Orchestra are almost sold out.
k.d. lang — the Grammy- and Juno-Award winning singer/songwriter and her band — will take to the NAC’s Southam Hall stage in a performance that celebrates the 25th anniversary of her groundbreaking album Ingénue. The gala concert will begin with a spectacular welcome from Music Director Alexander Shelley and the National Arts Centre Orchestra. After the concert, guests are invited to stay and party the night away in style, at the not to be missed music event of the season.
This glamorous fundraising event benefits the National Youth and Education Trust by providing much needed resources for the National Arts Centre’s youth and education programming all across the country. The Trust also supports masterclasses, online activities and youth programming for dance and theatre and donates tickets to children who might otherwise be unable to afford to attend performances at the NAC.
