THE NATIONAL ARTS CENTRE OFFICIALLY BREAKS GROUND ON THE “NEW” NAC
OTTAWA (Canada) – The National Arts Centre (NAC) is pleased to welcome the media to the official groundbreaking of the “new” NAC on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the 4th Stage. The NAC was a centennial project and opened its doors in 1969. The NAC will be renewed to mark Canada’s 150th Anniversary with a warm and inviting entrance that will embrace Confederation Square, including new performance and public spaces and improved accessibility, with a grand opening slated for Canada Day in 2017.
