THE NATIONAL ARTS CENTRE HOSTS ANNUAL PUBLIC MEETING
February 24, 2015 – OTTAWA (Canada) – The National Arts Centre (NAC) will hold its Annual Public Meeting on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in Le Salon.
Speakers include NAC Board Chair Adrian Burns, NAC President and CEO Peter Herrndorf, and Canadian architect and keynote speaker Donald Schmitt, who will speak about the architectural renewal of the National Arts Centre. The re-imagined NAC will open in 2017.
Schmitt’s firm, Diamond Schmitt Architects, has designed several internationally acclaimed performing arts centres, including La Maison Symphonique in Montreal, the Four Seasons Centre in Toronto and the recently opened Mariinsky II Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Refreshments will be served.
