Enter a world of fantasy and wonder! Just in time for the holiday season, the NAC English Theatre is proud to stage the classic tale of Alice Through the Looking-Glass, a madly inventive coming-of-age story for everyone!

When Alice passes through into the Looking Glass World, she suddenly finds herself in a bizarre and chaotic chess game that leads her on an unforgettable adventure which opens the door to superb family entertainment with audience interaction, zany characters and flamboyant design.

Under the guidance of NAC English Theatre Artistic Director Jillian Keiley and celebrated designer Bretta Gerecke, this eye-popping adventure and fantastical journey includes all the extraordinary characters: the Red and White rival queens, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Humpty Dumpty, the White Knight and many others, brought to life by the members of the 2014-15 NAC Ensemble.

After rave reviews at the Stratford Festival this past summer, excitement is high for this wildly entertaining Victorian vaudeville production, which has already been extended to January 3. Thrilling news keeps coming, as the Charlottetown Festival recently announced that a production of Alice Through the Looking-Glass, under the direction of Jillian Keiley, will be part of its 2015 Festival.

Featuring the 2014-15 Ensemble:
Lois Anderson, Herbie Barnes, Natasha Greenblatt, Tawiah M’Carthy, Amy Matysio, Alex McCooeye, Andrew Moodie, Christopher Morris, Karen Robinson and David Warburton. They will be joined by guest artists Darrell Dennis, Deirdre Gillard-Rowlings, Ron Klappholz, Andy Massingham and Alix Sideris.

The creative team includes: Director Jillian Keiley; Original Music and Orchestrations Jonathan Monro; Set and Costume Designer Bretta Gerecke; Lighting Designer Kimberly Purtell; Choreographer Dayna Tekatch; Sound Designer John Gzowski; Assistant Director Christine Brubaker; Stage Manager Brian Scott; Assistant Stage Manager Kate Macdonnell; and Apprentice Stage Manager Katherine Dermott.
