OTTAWA (Canada) — The National Arts Centre Orchestra concert recorded at the historic Salisbury Cathedral last month during their highly-successful five-city, 10-day tour of the United Kingdom will be broadcast on British and Canadian radio stations beginning tonight.

The full concert will air at 8 p.m. today on Classic FM in the United Kingdom (not available in Canada) and in Canada on CBC Radio 2's In Concert on November 9 at 11 a.m.ET and Tempo on November 11 at the same time. Highlights will air on CBC-TV during its Remembrance Day coverage on November 11, as a special called Remembering The First World War; In Concert with the National Arts Centre Orchestra. An hour-long broadcast of the concert will air again during the holiday season on CBC-TV. Check CBCMusic.ca/RemembranceDay to stay up to date. The concert will also be featured on Radio-Canada’s French-language program ICI MUSIQUE “Soirées Classiques” on Wednesday November 12 at 8 p.m.

ABOUT THE NAC ORCHESTRA’S UK TOUR

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, the tour of the United Kingdom by Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra was presented from October 23 to 30 by RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) with major support from The W.
