TRP.P (pronounced "trippy") is a Toronto band breaking barriers on the Hip-Hop/R&B scene. Composed of Truss (producer,singer/songwriter) and Phoenix Pagliacci (singer/songwriter), the dynamic duo began their collective artistry in the summer of 2017. In October of the same year, they released their self-titled debut EP. Since then, they have been unstoppable. TRP.P has made their mark in Toronto as a group to know.
In 2018, NOW Magazine listed them among the list of Must See acts performing at Toronto Pride. Dubbing themselves “ThePeteRock & C.L.SmoothofR&B”,Truss and Phoenix have an undeniable chemistry that is both relatable and infectious. The two have performed across North America, opening for heavy hitters like Oakland songstress Kehlani and Baltimore soulbird Mumu Fresh.
Their new EP, 2TRP.P, is set for release in September 2019. Nicole Chambers is an emerging R&B and Neo-Soul songstress hailing from Brampton, Ontario. Her music is heavily influenced by artists such as Erykah Badu and Sarah Vaughan. After embarking on a journey of learning to love, heartbreak and self-worth, Nicole released her debut EP HCIF (How Could I Forget) in 2018. Chambers has started to pave her way into Toronto’s R&B scene by collaborating with various artists such as Witch Prophet, Yuri Koller, and DviousMindz as well as performing part of The Iscream’s “Toronto R&B Sounds” and Slick Hand Collective’s “Golden Hour”. Nicole connects to audiences with her evoking flow and sultry sound. Nicole hopes that her voice and her words, can bring people together, uplift them, unite them and allow them to jam out.
