From Mi'kmaw poet and ecologist Shalan Joudry, this audio piece speaks to the foundational teachings that we all must consider and hopefully embody in order to shift to a more equitable and sustainable future.

This poem was created in Shalan’s community of L’sitkuk, within the traditional district of Kespukwitk, located in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people.
