“Inspired by the countless road trips my immigrant family took over this same highway since immigrating to Canada. There is something about being trapped in a car with no escape that allows for conversations to happen that would otherwise not happen in our everyday lives and relationships. This is a snippet of a larger conversation I imagine these two are having over their 11-hour drive. 1100km was shot over one day on an 11-hour drive South to North.” – Pedro Chamale
