When an omniscient cookie kindly reminds you of the wisdom held in the body. A reflection on what is true for me now.

Pam Tzeng 曾小桐 is a second-generation Taiwanese-Canadian choreographer, performer and arts worker who lives and creates at the confluence of where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet. A place that holds many names including Moh-kíns-tsis, Wincheesh-pah, Kootsisáw and Calgary.

This work was made on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 peoples - the Niitsitapi: Kanai, Siiksika and Pikani; the Îyâxe Nakoda and the Tsuut’ina. The plains of Southern Alberta are also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III. We, Pam and Old Trouts, strive to honour the original peoples and history of this territory, and give thanks to the Indigenous caretakers of this land.

Commissioned by The Old Trout Puppet Workshop.
