The Zoonotic Story is a response to abuse against Asians during the pandemic, where an uncanny encounter between two people in despair becomes a chance for mutual understanding, or for xenophobic hate.
Norman is a writer, actor & visual artist whose plays include Pu-Erh & the award-winning Theory. Online theatre projects include I Know I’m Supposed To Love You (Touchstone Theatre), Ms. Desjardins & Theory (PlayME/CBC). A member of Stratford Festival's 2020 acting company.
Norman Yeung was born in Guangzhou & divides his time between Los Angeles, T’karonto (Toronto), & hometown East Vancouver, on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples — Musqueam, Squamish, & Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.
