dear ghost children is a meditation on (fated/impossible) motherhood and (im)possibilities written while concussed.
This was written and recorded on the traditional territories of the Haudenosaunee, the Wendat, the Anishinaabe and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. I am the first of my family to have been born in, what we now call, Canada, on the Haldimand Tract, the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Neutral People. I acknowledge all of these Nations and any others unacknowledged, acknowledged, recorded and unrecorded, who have taken care of this land and continue to take care of this land. I affirm my commitment to challenging the colonial systems that have caused harm, and that stewardship is our collective responsibility of those who reside on this territory.
