The piece is an internal meditation: How do we facilitate the strength and momentum to move forward from paralyzing realities? Inspiration hides in the most unlikely places. It can be in a daydream, in the clouds, in a video game or in a fog of thoughts. Perhaps resilience is also cultivated in daydreams. Daydreaming brings us to the many levels of the self, navigating through fictionalized reflection to find imagination and lightness again.

Escape of Daydreamer was filmed on the traditional, unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and Stó:lō (Stahlo) Nations.
