Soundpainting is a multi-disciplinary sign language used to create real time compositions. It was developed in the 1970s by Walter Thompson and is now used educationally and professionally around the world. The many educational benefits of soundpainting include creative thinking, observation and responsiveness as well as critical thinking in dance, music, theatre and art making.
