Dare to get wet – this is the slogan for the 2013 edition of Zones Théâtrales biennial. Artistic Director René Cormier has taken inspiration from the playwright Bertolt Brecht who stated "The headlong stream is termed violent, But the river bed hemming it in is termed violent by no one." René Cormier has programmed a selection of works that promises to take the viewer to 'unknown shores' and 'against the current' of mainstream society.
Zones théâtrales celebrates the diversity of Francophone voices from across Canada. Events take place in Ottawa and across the river in Gatineau September 9th – 14th.
