Afin de pouvoir nous rapprocher, d’ici jusqu’à Fauquier…

To mark Franco-Ontarian Day, on September 25, the NAC is proud to showcase the talented mural artist Mique Michelle on its Kipnes Lantern once again.

The NAC’s doors were closed and the streets of downtown Ottawa were pretty quiet when we last displayed the work of the Franco-Ontarian Métis artist on the same day last year. But as we find our way back to each other, Mique Michelle’s colourful world helps bring us closer (safely and in keeping with current public health measures) to celebrate the rich diversity of cultures and accents of Ontario’s Francophonie.

To all Ontario Francophones: A very happy September 25 from all of us at the NAC!

Aujourd’hui pour demain…donnons-nous la main.

Happy Franco-Ontarian Day!
