Behind the scenes of a broadband videoconference

Today NAC New Media starts the tech set-up for the November 13th National Choral Lecture-Performance. Equipment ranging from lights and cameras to huge screens and broadband internet connections must be set-up, tested and triple checked prior to the live event. At the end a rehearsal hall space will be transformed into a brodband videoconference studio.

During the event choristers from the Ottawa Children’s Choir, Cantiamo Girls Choir, Cantiamo Training Choir, Chœur de l’École Sécondaire De la Salle and the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir will connect with members of Shallaway, an award-winning youth choir from Newfoundland.

We invite you to view the live webcast on November 13th at 12:00 p.m. in Ottawa
(1:30 in Newfoundland) at live.nac-cna.ca.

The next broadband videoconference on tour is Manhattan on the Atlantic.
