Featuring over twenty artists on stage, Anne & Gilbert: The Musical brings together members of the 2015/16 NAC Ensemble with artists who have previously been featured in the Prince Edward Island production, including Ellen Denny and Alex Furber.
Vibrant fiddle music is a direct path to the maritime spirit of the production, featuring East Coast Music Award-winning songs. Add to that a combination of Ottawa Valley and P.E.I . step dancing and it's a wonder audiences aren't leaving the theatre performing a jig. For Ellen Denny "Island Through and Through is one of the ones that most gets stuck in peoples heads. That number in particular really brings out the island flavour that this show has."
