Our Great Performers series welcomes iconic artists to Southam Hall to perform classical favourites and new works by today’s leading composers. This season, we host two extraordinary guest orchestras—the Philadelphia Orchestra under the direction of Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Gustavo Gimeno. Piano recitals by internationally renowned Canadian artist Angela Hewitt and Korean superstar soloist Seong-Jin Cho round out the series and underscore the “great” in Great Performers!
