1. Speaker of the House of Commons Reception to Honour the Recipients
What: The Honourable Andrew Scheer, Speaker of the House of Commons, will host a reception in honour of the 2013 recipients of the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards following the recognition of the recipients in the House of Commons.
When: Thursday, May 30, 2013

There will be opportunities for photos of the 2013 GGPAA recipients with the Speaker of the House Commons, as well as for interviews.

2. Awards Presentation
What: His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada,
will confer the Awards upon this year’s laureates during a special ceremony.
