This Holiday Season the NAC English Theatre is proud to present the Tony-Award winning musical Oliver!. Showcasing the NAC English Theatre Company, Dickens’ timeless classic comes to life through the tale of the orphan Oliver, the Artful Dodger, Fagin, Nancy, and all the down-and-out denizens of London. This poignant story of the boy who struggled against hardship for a better life plays a limited engagement in the NAC Theatre December 6 thru 24, 2011.

Broadway legend Lionel Bart’s memorable songs, including “Food, Glorious Food,” “Where is Love?,” “As Long as He Needs Me,” “Consider Yourself,” and “Oliver” all take centre stage, capturing the flavour of Victorian England in the intimacy of the NAC Theatre.

Lionel Bart’s musical adaptation has been captivating adults and children alike for 50 years. This production, under the guidance of Director/Choreographer Dayna Tekatch and Musical Director Allen Cole, celebrates all the romance of the music, while remaining true to the spirit of Charles Dickens.
