Ottawa, Canada – For an overview of last year’s activities at the National Arts Centre (NAC), members of the media are invited to attend the annual public meeting of the Board of Trustees to be hosted by Julia Foster, Chair of the NAC Board of Trustees, and Peter Herrndorf, President and CEO of the NAC.

This year’s meeting will feature a presentation by Heather Moore, the Producer and Executive Director of Prairie Scene, the eclectic, multi-disciplinary arts festival taking place in 30 venues in Ottawa-Gatineau from April 26 to May 8. More than 500 artists from Saskatchewan and Manitoba will be showcasing the best of music, dance, film, theatre, literary, and the culinary arts. It will be the largest gathering of Prairie artists ever assembled outside Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
