Canada’s National Arts Centre is delighted to announce a unique website feature called NAC Orchestra Concerts on Demand. "Concerts on Demand" allows anyone with a computer to enjoy free online streaming concerts – only a click away. National Arts Centre Orchestra ‘Concerts on Demand’ is the first such feature of its kind, anywhere in the world.

"Concerts on Demand" is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week and features uninterrupted, commercial-free performances by the National Arts Centre Orchestra and internationally acclaimed guest artists. Each concert has its own audio file and a virtual house program (a .pdf file) which includes program notes and biographies of the artists.

Many audience members undergo exhilarating, deeply emotional experiences at an NAC Orchestra concert. ‘Concerts on Demand’ now offers a virtual “replay” button for selected concerts, allowing music lovers all over the world to experience the magic of the music for the first time … or to relive the music all over again.

Ten (10) concerts are currently available, with two more to be added later this season. Approximately 7-10 new concerts per season will be added in future years. Concerts will be posted online within 10 days of the performance.

• Featured artists/soloists include such celebrated names as Yefim Bronfman, Kirill Gerstein, Viviane Hagner, Leila Josefowicz, Louis Lortie, Andrew mcCandless, Jon Kimura Parker, Juho Pohjonen, Avan Yu, and Pinchas Zukerman, as well as soloists from the NAC Orchestra, including Amanda Forsyth, Joanna G’froerer, Yosuke Kawasaki, Emily Marks, and Joel Quarrington.
