AUDITIONS FOR YOUNG PERFORMERS

The National Arts Centre English Theatre

is holding auditions for the children’s roles in our production of

A Christmas Carol

directed by Jillian Keiley

on Friday, June 17, 2016.

 

We are looking for boys age 7-14 and girls age 10-14 with some stage experience and singing ability.

NAC English Theatre is committed to inclusive casting. We encourage submissions from all young performers, regardless of cultural identity, disability, or any other basis of representation.

To request an appointment, please send an email to

auditionsottawa@nac-cna.ca including a recent photo of yourself and a brief description of your stage experience (classes, performances, etc.) no later than Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

These will be group auditions involving games and exercises. Actors will also be asked to prepare a song.

Rehearsals and performances will take place at the NAC during the months of November and December, 2016, including the school holiday period.
