Xavier Bergeron

Last updated: May 22, 2024

Actor and creator Xavier Bergeron is fascinated by the expressiveness of the body. His undying love of sport sparked his interest in acting and physical theatre. Through his studies in mask, movement and improvisation at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal (graduating in 2023), he discovered theatrical forms that captivated him and confirmed his interest in body poetry. During his final year, he worked notably with Jean-Simon Traversy, David Paquet, Véronique Côté and Mathieu Quesnel.

In summer 2023, Xavier was part of the cast of Théâtre La Roulotte’s production of Les malheurs de Sophie, written by Ève Christian based on the children’s book by the Comtesse de Ségur and directed by Justin Laramée. In spring 2024, he appeared at Duceppe in Royal by Jean-Philippe Baril-Guérard, directed by Jean-Simon Traversy and Virginie Brunelle.
