Wayne has been involved with production for over 25 years. His experience spans across entertainment with work in theatre sound design, stagecraft, concert audio, broadcast music mixing as well as theme park entertainment. This varied experience has provided Wayne with a unique view of the industry – regardless of whether it be events for live, recorded or for broadcast. One aspect that sets Wayne apart in audio is his work as a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer. His work on acoustic signal processing for the defense market provides a technical foundation that couples nicely with his musical sensitivities. This skill combination led to the formation of Click Track Audio, one of the country’s few professional remote recording audio services. Wayne has been involved in many broadcasts for producers such as VRAK TV, CTV, Rogers Television, Heritage Canada, Insight Productions and Sirius XM Radio. With these national broadcasts, his events have featured personalities such as The Tragically Hip, Billy Talent, The Sam Roberts Band, Blue Rodeo, Etta James, & Diana Krall to name a few. Wayne’s credits also include the recording and 5.1 mix of the National Arts Centre Orchestra for the 2021 Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards, assistant sound designer for the remounting of Walter Borden’s seminal play The Last Epistle of Tightrope Time and music mixer for the national broadcast of The Legacy Awards. Wayne continues work in the industry as a freelance Producer, broadcast music mixer, and Front-of-House mixer/engineer while also teaching in the Music Industry Arts program at Algonquin College in Ottawa.
