Simon Ambühl

The artist Simon Ambühl, who resides in Switzerland, composes, writes lyrics, and is a passionate guitarist, singer, and a self-taught musician who has grown out of alternative and experimental rock music. He has played countless concerts both domestically and abroad in various formations. His field of activity now extends from songwriting, to theater music, audio performances, art exhibitions, writing columns, readings, and improvised instrumental music. His musical work has been recognized by the Federal Office of Culture in 1998 during the 150th anniversary celebration of the Swiss Confederation, and in 2016 as a member of the ensemble of Junges Theater Graubünden with the Swiss Theater Award. Simon Ambühl has been studying cultural sciences at the University of Lucerne since 2015.
