Philippe Lessard Drolet

Philippe Lessard Drolet, a founding member of Théâtre Rude Ingénierie (TRI), structures his interactive performative works around encounters of the living, the inanimate, and the virtual. His multidisciplinary practice consists of video, performative works and electronic design for shows and events, and lighting design for theatre and dance. In addition to his TRI contributions, he works closely with L’orchestre d’hommes-orchestres (LODHO) and Les Incomplètes, a company that creates highly imaginary theatrical works primarily for young children. Since 2018, he has been teaching stage lighting and video design at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec.
