Patrick Paradine

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, violinist Patrick Paradine (23) has an undergraduate degree in performance violin from the University of Ottawa and is currently completing a Master’s of Music at McGill University. Since starting violin lessons at the age of four with Olena and Serhii Vyhovskyi, he continued his studies with acclaimed pedagogues such as Yehonatan Berick, Timothy Chooi, and, more recently, Violaine Melançon. Patrick won first prize in the University of Ottawa Chamber Competition and has been an award recipient in the NACO Bursary Competition as well as receiving a Graduate Excellence Award at McGill University.
