Pahua

Pahua is a composer, percussionist, DJ and producer from Mexico City who mixes Caribbean and folkloric beats with electronics and percussions from all over the world. Mostly started as a vocalist in a Mariachi (regional music from her country) and was lyricist and founder of Sotomayor Music band that was a neocumbia experimental music project with her brother. During the pandemic started Pahua where she produces her own music and where she explores different vibes with a lot of musicians and new genres. Nowadays she is working on lullabies for Apple Music and  in her new album that is a collaborative work with 12 Latin American artists with a mix of folktronic cumbia, afro beats, kuduro and house music. Pahua is on the Latin electronics beats scene called Latin Wave.
