Olivier Fairfield is a songwriter, designer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumental musician working in many artistic disciplines, including theatre, dance and film. As a musician, he has toured nationally and internationally with Timber Timbre, Andy Shauf and Leif Vollebekk, and has been featured on over 100 studio recordings by Canadian and international artists including Lou Doillon, Adam Cohen and M Ward. He is also a composer, arranger and producer for his bands: FET.NAT, Last Ex and H. de Heutz. He is currently finalizing the composition, recording and production of the soundtrack for Nouveau Québec, a feature film written and directed by Sarah Fortin, and preparing for the launch of ALBUM S/T, his new project to be released through Toronto-based Telephone Explosion Records. In addition, he is the co-founder and leader of E‑Tron Records, an independent label that specializes in promoting experimental and alternative music from the Ottawa–Gatineau region.
