Mary Ellis

Mary has worked extensively as an actor, director and educator for many years, and has been an active member of the Ottawa theatre community for more than three decades. She has received numerous awards and nominations for her work as both an actor and director. Most recently she directed the radio drama podcast Joys and Splendors, and Dressed as People for Parry Riposte Productions. Mary teaches at Carleton University, and is Artistic Director of Horseshoes and Hand Grenades Theatre Company, which has recently been developing and workshopping scripts by local writers.
