Grand Prize winner of the 2006 Canadian Music Competition, Marianne Di Tomaso has distinguished herself nationally and internationally.  She has won several prizes such as the Second Prize, and Award for Best Performance of a Compulsory Work at the 44th International Competition Concertino Praga, the Second Prize, and Award for Best Performance of a Canadian Work at the OSM Standard Life Competition, the Peter Mendell Award, and First Prize at the Virtuoso e Belcanto violin competition in Lucca, Italy.

Professionally, Ms. Di Tomaso has worked for the Orchestre Smphonique de Montréal, I Musici de Montréal, and L’Orchestre FILMharmonique. She holds an Artist Diploma from the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal, a Master of Music, and a Master of Musical Arts from the Yale School of Music, and a Graduate Diploma from McGill University.
