Violinist Linda-Anette Suss is a student at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland in the class of Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. She has also participated in masterclasses with some of the most prestigious teachers in the world, such as Pavel Berman, Oleh Krysa, Oliver Charlier, and Sergey Kravchenko.
Linda is also an accomplished competitor. In 2003 and 2007 she was awarded the first prize at the ESTA competition in Tallinn. In 2014 she was awarded first prize in the international "Renaissance" competition in Armenia.
In 2015 she received the Laureate Diploma and three special prizes with pianist Sten Heinoja at the I Estonian Competition for Chamber Ensembles with Piano "In corpore", and also third prize in the Filadelfia Festival in Italy.
Most recently she was awarded 2nd prize and special prize for Tõnu Kõrvits' Elegy for solitude at the Estonian National String Competition.
Linda made her debut with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra with the Sibelius Violin Concerto.
Beginning in the 2016/2017 season, Linda will be concertmaster of the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra in Tartu, Estonia.
