Leonard Pineault Deault

At 24 years old, Leonard has played with many professional orchestras such as Québec Symphony, Orchestre Métropolitain, Laval Symphony, Sherbrooke Symphony, Longueuil Symphony Orchestra and others. Leonard also distinguished himself in competitions, notably getting 2nd prize at the 2020 OSM Competition and getting 7th at the Ian Bousfield International Trombone competition. He has been called to play as a soloist in various settings during his studies including with the Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra at Maison Symphonique as well as Orchestre Métropolitain when he was 17 years old. The trombone player has been occupying the second trombone position in the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra since 2022.
