Lennox Blue Powell

Lennox Blue Powell is eleven years old and in grade six at Canada’s National Ballet School for the prestigious full time professional training/academic program.
Despite his young age, Lennox is gaining a wealth of performing experience. Lennox is proud and honoured to reprise his role in I Forgive You after its debut in 2022. This fall Lennox was selected to perform in the The National Ballet’s productions of Madadam and The Nutcracker and he will be playing the title role in Billy Elliot with Neptune Theatre in Halifax spring 2023. Some previous credits include: Billy Elliot (Atlantic Light), Once (Theatre St. John’s), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Best Kind) Our Divas Do Christmas (TaDa) and The Nutcracker (Kittiwake). You can hear him in the upcoming PBS Kids animated special Pinkalicious & Peterrific A Pinkerton Family Vacation as the voice of “Bob Beigerton”. Lennox has received many dance awards, including Dancer of the year and Top Soloist. He holds an RCM Gold Medal in voice for Atlantic Canada, as well as multiple All-Around Champion titles for Men’s Gymnastics.
Lennox would like to sincerely thank Jillian, Robert, Pat, Crystal, Kellie, Christopher and all the AF team for the opportunity to participate in the creation of this amazing work. Big thank you to the crew, cast and friends in the chorus for all the wonderful memories made. And especially to Scott, for sharing his story and for being the heart of this whole production. The hearts of this team are like a chorus that he’s made beat together.
