Katia Café-Fébrissy

Based in Toronto, bilingual multidisciplinary artist Katia Café-Fébrissy is a multi-award-winning director and screenwriter, playwright and stage director working in both English and French. She is a member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, the Directors Guild of Canada, the Canadian Media Guild and the Société des auteurs de radio, télévision et cinéma (SARTEC). She is a graduate of the Creative Women Workshops Association’s Women in the Director’s Chair program and of the Directors Lab North. Katia also teaches filmmaking in the Bachelor of Film and Television program at Sheridan College. She holds an M.A. in documentary filmmaking from Ateliers Varan, France, and an M.A. in literature and languages from Université Paris VIII, France.
