Kanon Itoh

Kanon Itoh began playing the violin at age three. Her accolades include the Munetsugu Owner Prize at the 3rd Zigeunerweisen Competition, second place at the 18th Tokyo College of Music Competition, and fourth place at the 30th Japan Classical Music Competition (College Division). She has played in the Beppu Argerich Music Festival Orchestra (2019); Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival Orchestra (2022); and the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra (2023), where she served as co-concertmaster. Kanon graduated from the Tokyo College of Music, where she received the Fukushima Scholarship Foundation Scholarship and from the Tōhō Orchestra Academy. Her teachers include Isako Shinozaki, Koichiro Harada, Mayuko Kamio, Kyoko Takezawa, and Eiji Arai.
