Having generated over $200M in philanthropic revenues for arts and culture, education, healthcare, and human services, Juniper is committed to advancing philanthropy as a tool for change.
Previous roles include Chief Development & Communications Officer for Community Food Centres Canada, Senior Director, Development for YMCA of Greater Toronto, Senior Consultant for KCI (Ketchum Canada Inc), as well as roles in fundraising, government relations, marketing and arts education for Soulpepper Theatre Company, Tapestry Opera and the Canadian Opera Company.
In addition to her extensive professional background, Juniper brings a unique perspective rooted in her training as an opera singer. Her well-rounded expertise extends to her academic credentials, including a Graduate Diploma in Operatic Performance from the University of Toronto and a Master of Philanthropy & Non-Profit Leadership from Carleton University.
Recognized as a collaborative leader, mentor, teacher and advocate for professional fundraising, Juniper is an instructor in the Fundraising Management Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. She has served on the boards of the AFP Greater Toronto Chapter, AFP Foundation for Philanthropy, and as Chair of Government Relations for AFP Canada. She is also a member of Rogare’s Critical Fundraising Network and a Certified Fundraising Executive.
