Julien Haynes

Julien Haynes is an emerging violist based in Montreal, QC. As a chamber musician, Julien has shared the stage with some of North America’s top classical musicians, including concerts with Nikki Chooi, Robert Uchida, Violaine Melançon, Cameron Crozman, Marina Thibeault and Hao Zhou. Julien has performed as a substitute member of orchestras throughout Canada, including the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Symphony Orchestra and the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, Julien had the great privilege of leading the Aspen Symphony Academy Orchestra as principal viola, as well as the Orchestre de la Francophonie in the following summer. Currently, Julien is pursuing a Graduate Diploma from the McGill Schulich School of Music under the tutelage of Marina Thibeault.
