Jovanni Sy 施崇梵

Jovanni Sy 施崇梵  is a Montreal-based performer, playwright, and director. He last appeared at the NAC in King of the Yees.
Acting credits: Mr. Miyagi in the pre-Broadway tryout of The Karate Kid, the Musical (Stages St. Louis); Forgiveness (Theatre Calgary); Noises Off (Arts Club).
Playwriting credits: A Taste of Empire, The Five Vengeances, Nine Dragons (Jessie Richardson Award), The Tao of the World (PGC Comedy Award), and Kowloon Bay (PGC Drama Award).
Directing credits: The Orchard (After Chekhov),《食盡天下》(Vancouver); Murder on the Orient Express (Calgary); Stitch (Toronto); Blackbird, Antigone, God of Carnage (Hong Kong).
Jovanni co-wrote the play Salesman in China with Leanna Brodie. He will direct its World Premiere at the Stratford Festival in August 2024.
