José García is a Canadian award-winning drummer, composer, and educator living in Ottawa, ON. In 2016, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in performance from Humber College in Toronto. Throughout his time at Humber, Jose studied with Mark Kelso, Larnell Lewis, Barry Romberg, and Kirk MacDonald amongst others. José's versatility has enabled him to work with many artists from diverse genres including Michelle Treacy, Anjali Ranadive, Sreerama Chandra, JUNO award winner Kellylee Evans, Miguel de Armas, Roddy Ellias, Marc Copland, Ryan Devlin and many more. In the fall of 2023, following a summer of playing festivals and touring, Primary Colours, a musical trio co-founded by Jose, released their debut album, 'All Love'.
