After publishing a few texts in the magazine Ancrages, Jonathan Roy published his first poetry collection, Apprendre à tomber (Éditions Perce-Neige, 2012), which won the Prix littéraire Antonine-Maillet-Acadie Vie. Named one of “10 writers to watch” by the literary show Plus on est de fous, plus on lit (Radio-Canada Première), he has since contributed to magazines and collective works, to the design of the artist’s book Alpha/Coda – Portrait du monde au gun à plombs, and to songs (Cedric Vienneau, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire) and a screenplay (for the short film Bill Bowl, directed by Julien Cadieux). A bookseller and artistic advisor for the Salon du livre de la Péninsule acadienne, he is the artistic director of the Festival acadien de poésie de Caraquet and manager of the Poésie/Rafale collection at Éditions Perce-Neige. Savèches à fragmentation (Éditions Perce-Neige, 2019) is his most recent poetry anthology.
