Jasmine Dubé

For Jasmine Dubé, actress, playwright, director, and artistic director of Théâtre Bouches Décousues, theatre—just like water and sunlight for flowers—helps children grow. She has created some 20 plays for young audiences (La bonne femme, Le bain, La couturière), some of which have been performed up to 500 times! She has received numerous awards (including the 2013 Raymond Plante Prize), and is the author of several children’s picture books published by La courte échelle and La bagnole. No matter the subject, all of her plays reflect her compassion and care for all living things.
